This is a fantastic piece of furniture, solid oak construction, the front being all quarter sawn, with large and bright medullary rays throughout. Fantastic condition for its age with a great patina. Subtle but beautiful in a home, it has came from an old school. Opens and closes perfectly with the original handles. Some scratches and 4 screw holes on the top where the past owner has had a bookcase, the finish has also faded slightly (see photos).
