Antique French Ormolu Bronze & Marble Table Lamp, Rams Head Decoration.
This is a very fine 19th century table lamp converted from a cassolette. The veining on the marble is stunning with blue streaks running right through it. The bronze mounts and appliqués are bronze with an ormolu gilding with well sculpted rams heads and wreaths adorning the lamp. This is extremely heavy and most people couldnât hold it with one arm.
The wiring has been checked and works well with new B22 switched bulb holders.
