These lamps were last sold at Christie’s in their 1999 catalogued auction (see label on base).You can view this online and see they sold for £575 (plus commission) in 1999 at Christie’s, they would fetch far more now.

These have ivy and floral cast handles, shell decorated bases with paw feet, re-gilt and patinated Bronze. These were once paraffin lamps and have been converted at some point in their history. The patinated bronze body is engine turned (Guilloche) and is shaped in an beautiful

baluster form.

Fully rewired with new fittings and braided cable.
